Studio time

This project is a collaboration with Matter Of Time Studio, where members of the DJ community can record a 30 minute jam in a creative studio in the heart of Shoreditch. The space encourages DJs to bring their friends, hang out, jam and get to know other DJs in the room. So many great things happen every time Faded Society puts talent in one room!

Each DJ session is provided the Featured Package, which includes having their audio mastered and visual content edited ready to use for social media. It also includes being featured on the official Faded Society channels & Matter Of Time Youtube.

This project is exclusively for DJs in the ‘DATABASE OF OPPORTUNITIES’ only. Get yourself on the database now.

Faded Sessions will be hosted on Tuesday nights at 6pm - 9pm. This is a studio space with a couch and seating, byo food, snacks and drinks to fully immerse and jam with other DJs and artists.
DJs in the database will be invited with a link to add their names to the timesheet., specifying the date and time slot that suits them.
If you'd like to have the session with all 4 of your DJ friends then let them know to add to the timesheet, or apply to the database if they're not on.
The session will only go ahead with a full lineup so we'll have to make changes to the timetable as needed.

You will be invited with 4 other DJs to hangout, jam and mix in the same 3-hour session (6pm - 9pm)

Within the 3 hours there's time for 4x DJs to record their individual sets, with extra 30 minutes buffer time for set up and switch-overs.
You're welcome to play anything you like. Represent your usual sounds or record new genres that you don't usually get time to explore. Your set might be completely different to the next DJ but this will be a great space to connect and discover new music.
Feel free to b2b instead of having an individual 30 mins as you please.
The DJ equipment in the studio is XDJ-XZ
Record straight away on to a second USB plugged into the machine with the official Faded USB
There is a provided Go-Pro for use with Faded Society SD card only.
There's also a ring light and sunset light to use.
The Go Pro will be plugged in to charge for the whole session so you won't need to worry.
The visual recordings will be edited and provided as part of the Featured Package. If you post on social media, don't forget to tag @fadedsociety.ltd and @matteroftime.wav
We try to make this package as accessible and affordable for each DJ.

Behind the scenes it requires a lot of time, resources, studio hire and 4 people to make it happen per session.
We will not be able to refund if
- You change your mind on the day
- Don't like your mix after the session
- You did not cancel before 48 hours of the session date and filled in the slot with another DJ
Please ensure to make the invoice payments BEFORE your session date. You are not confirmed the slot until payment is received
Please help to make this project sustainable by following the rules
The space must be packed up and left neatly the way you've found it when you walk in.
Someone from the studio management will be there to lock up at night so if any DJs are reported to have damaged any equipment or the space then they will be immediately removed from the database , along with all connections to events and opportunities.
Please take care of the free space and equipment provided like it's your house.

SESSION breakdown

£30 per person to include all the listed services and features
- Mastered MP3 + album cover
- Colour graded Youtube + artwork cover
- Colour graded Carousel + artwork cover
- Colour graded Reel + artwork cover
- Featured on Faded Society channels and Matter of Time Youtube
Lead time is up to 10 days to process and edit from the date of the session.
You will be sent an invoice to pay before the session.
Get your audio checked and mastered ready to be use on any music sharing platforms.
There will be a Faded USB provided at the studio to plug in and record on. This will be collected by the Faded Society team at the studio.
The entire Go-Pro footage will be edited and colour-graded. It will also be cut into different ratios:
- 9:16 for Reels. This will be cropped and ready to use for Instagram or Tiktok
- 16:9 for Carousels or platforms like Youtube
Get featured with a collab tag invitation by @Fadedsociety.ltd Instagram account with a Reel or Carousel post from your recording.
You'll also be featured on this website under the Archives section of Faded Features for anyone to browse through.
Get featured on their Youtube channel with the likes of Jess Hands and so many other up & coming DJs.
There will be a dedicated Faded Sessions playlist on the channel to archive and browse.
